THE ART OF NOTE TAKING
The Three-Step Method
As a class, we will watch the following video. Students will be expected to take notes during the video. Following the video, there will be a brief review of the three-step note taking method.
Now that you have learned an efficient method of note taking, you will be required to use this method to take effective notes as you listen to the podcast: Ghosts of Football Past.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Listen to the podcast
- Take detailed notes according to the note taking method you just learned
- Be prepared to use these notes to complete Project Media exercise two

PROJECT MEDIA – WRITING EXERCISE TWO
INSTRUCTIONS: Using your detailed notes from the Ghosts of Football Past podcast, write a 250-word summary of the events that occurred in the podcast. Then write a 100-word personal assessment of the treatment of the boys at the Carlisle Indian School.
